The most COMMENDED assassin Noxus has to offer, KATARINA Du Couteau leads the Empire’s most respected assassin guild. Titled the SINISTER BLADE for her infamous bladed whirlwind executions and her zealous personality, she has dedicated herself to the future of Noxus, carving out her own reputation without the need of her father’s shadow.
In her youth, all the eldest daughter of the Du Couteau's wanted was to make her father PROUD. She trained extensively under his tutelage, but when her first official mission was given, it all went horribly wrong. BRANDISHED with her mistake and leaving her father ASHAMED, Katarina decided the only one she had to prove her worth, her STRENGTH to, was NOXUS.SHE is the best at what she does.
And NO ONE will bring her down.

UNCOVERING AND STOPPING HER FATHER'S ATTEMPT AT SKILL SWAIN, Katarina has no family left to turn to. As the sole member of Du Couteau house still pledged to Noxus, and leader of the family's assassin guild, she gives everything to the goal of a stronger empire. Answering to Grand General Swain, she sees to it that any that stand in the way of Noxus' future meets a quick, and bloody end.

THE DEATH SWORN ARE FALLEN WARRIORS WHO RETURN TO THE PLANE OF THE LIVING TO CLAIM MORE SOULS AT THE BEHEST OF DEATH ITSELF. A skilled assassin in life, Katarina pledged her sinister blades willingly, and was granted spectral abilities allowing her to pass in and out of the underworld with ease.

VERSE 1.5; headcanon-based events
WITH HER FATHER'S UNTIMELY DISSAPEARENCE, Katarina is content to let dead dogs lie, and focusing on her role under Noxus' new ruling. With her unmatched skills she worked her way into the role of general with the responsibility of an assassin guild beneath her, and now overlooks more missions than she does herself, keeping the empire moving from the shadows.
Of course, only the most dangerous and impossible tasks are left to her.

ONCE AN AMBITION GENERAL IN THE G/NETIC REBELLION, KATARINA RETURNED TO THE COMMAND LINE AFTER A CONFRONTATION WITH ASHE HERSELF. Her hyper edge daggers now serve PROJECT once more, but those rebels who knew her still hold out hope that she fights for them on the inside.
